Welcome to St. Mary's BSA Troop 533 page. While this troop is a male oriented troop, the scout level is for every 11-17 years old. At this level, all scouts work on their skills to earn merit badges and must show competency in each skill to earn each badge.
BSA Scouts have 7 levels:
Scout
Tenderfoot
Second Class
First Class
Star Scout
Life Scout
Eagle Scout
At this level, troops lead themselves while the adult leaders serve as guides. Often the scouts hold different positions, open together, learn the skills with adult assistance and close the meeting together. For a general guide, refer to the meeting guide provided here.
